Facilities Request
A Facilities Request is a request for facilities-related improvements to school space. Facilities-related items are defined as paint, carpet, flooring, ceiling tiles, remodeling, furniture, locks, electrical outlets/upgrades, etc. For example, a department would use the Facility Request process if they wanted to cosmetically renovate an undergraduate instructional lab with new paint, carpet, window blinds, furniture, etc.
If you would like to submit a Facilities Request, please identify and prioritize your department’s requests. In particular, we would like to know the projects you believe are most important to improve your unit’s appearance, functionality, security or safety. This includes department offices and common areas such as conference rooms, student areas, kitchens or copy rooms, faculty, staff and student offices, and faculty research laboratories. We recommend funding facilities improvements of minimal cost (under $1000) from your unit’s operating budget.
Please click the link to the Facilities Request Form to submit a request. The form must be approved by the academic department chair, or the head of the administrative department. You will be notified by the Dean’s Office of its decision regarding your Facilities Request.
